Getting started

Sign in and find your way around

How to get into Sharkforce, what each role sees, and how the workspace is organized.

Sharkforce uses your work account. You got access in one of two ways:

  • Email invitation. Your admin sent an invite to your inbox. Open it, accept, and create your account.
  • Invite code. Your admin shared a code with you. Enter it when signing up to request to join the organization.

After that, sign in at dashboard.shark-force.com with the same account every time. On mobile, use the same account in the app; your organization, language, and settings carry over.

Use the email your organization invited. Signing in with a different address creates a separate account that is not connected to your team.

Two dashboards, one sidebar

The left sidebar is your map. What it contains depends on which dashboard you are in.

User Dashboard (every member):

  • Shifts - your shifts and assignments
  • Calendar - your schedule and connected calendar events
  • Reports - your performance and activity
  • Requests - time off, equipment, and support requests
  • Documents - the Mako file library for your organization
  • Signatures - documents you need to sign
  • Payroll - payslips and earnings
  • Tax Documents - tax forms and documents
  • Face ID - face check-in setup
  • Mako - chat with the Mako AI assistant

Admin Dashboard (owners and admins):

  • Team Members - roster, roles, positions, and invitations
  • Check-in - QR codes, face check-in settings, and location zones
  • Shifts - team shifts, calendar, templates, and reports
  • Requests - the approval queue, policies, balances, holidays, and reports
  • Mako - chat, documents, profile, and notes
  • Agreements - assignments, templates, and signature activity
  • Payroll - dashboard, run payroll, compensation, and settings
  • Plans & Billing - your plan, payment methods, and invoices
  • Organization Settings - general settings for the whole workspace (name, logo, URL slug, type, team size)

If you are an admin, the top of the sidebar lets you switch between Admin Dashboard and User Dashboard so you can preview what members see.

The sidebar footer holds Settings, Support, and Documentation on both dashboards. Support opens the Sharkforce contact page; Documentation opens this help center.

The Settings dialog

The footer of the sidebar has a Settings entry that opens the settings dialog instead of a page. Tabs include Profile, Security, Display, Notifications, Mako, and, for admins, Organization. This is where you change your language, switch between light and dark mode, and manage your account details.

Mobile too

The same account works in the mobile app. Sign in once and your shifts, requests, and settings are already there. See Mobile app.
