Signatures and documents

Review and sign documents your company assigns you, track recurring compliance obligations, and find your files in Documents.

Two sidebar entries cover your paperwork: Signatures for things waiting on your signature, and Documents for the files themselves.

Signatures

Signatures ("Documents your company has assigned to you. Review and sign here.") is the signing queue. Three tabs split the work, each with a live count:

TabWhat it holdsCounter
To signDocuments waiting for your signature"{n} pending"
SignedDocuments you have completed"{n} completed"
ComplianceAgreements assigned on a recurring cadence"{n} due"

The table lists each item with Document, From, Signers, Status, Last activity, and Sent (plus Due for compliance items). The statuses you will see:

  • Pending or In progress while a document is still moving between signers.
  • Signed / Completed once everyone has signed.
  • Declined if a signer refused it.
  • Voided if the envelope was cancelled.
  • Compliance obligations carry their own states: Open, In progress, Completed, Overdue, or Waived.

A compliance item's title reads "{template} re-acknowledgment (every {days} days)", while a one-off is "{template} signature request".

Signing a document

Open a document and choose Review & sign (or Continue signing if you started earlier). Once finished, View certificate opens the completion certificate for your records.

The honest empty states keep the queue calm: "Nothing to sign. You're all caught up", "No signed documents yet. Documents you sign will appear here for your records", and "No compliance obligations. Agreements assigned to you on a recurring schedule will appear here." A pager moves through the list ("Page {x} of {y}").

The page needs the documents permission. Without it you see "You don't have access to documents. Contact your administrator if you believe this is a mistake."

Documents

Documents ("Manage your personal and company documents") is your file area, split into tabs:

  • Personal Documents: files only you can see. A banner reads "Private & Secure. Documents uploaded here are strictly private. Only you can access them."
  • Company Documents: the shared files your organization makes available.
  • Profile: your profile settings for the documents area.

Personal files are yours alone; company files are the library your admins keep for everyone.
